When I, among a group of concerned citizens, visited Senator Feinstein's office in Washington DC, her aide who met with us said that he could not stress enough the power of letter-writing. This is probably a good way to start, until we come up with other creative ideas, such as Game Night, where the loser is the first to eat a "bizarre food".  Who knows?
